What We Believe About Man

• Man was originally created sinless, in the image and likeness of God (Gen. 1:27).
• He sinned by rebelling against God’s leadership and as a consequence incurred both physical and spiritual death (Gen 3).
• All men are subsequentially born with a sinful nature (Rom. 3:23), separated from the life of God (Isa. 59:2), and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 15:20-23).
