What We Believe About Salvation

• Salvation is wholly of God by grace through faith on the sole basis provided through Jesus Christ for all men.
• Those who turn away from living for themselves and believe in Jesus, trusting alone in His finished work on the cross, are born again, being baptized into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit of God (1 Cor 12:13).
• They receive the gift of eternal life, and become the adopted children of God (Tit. 3:4-7, Jn. 1:12-13, Eph 2:8-9).
• When an unregenerate person crosses over from death to life, this new birth is eternally secured with the promises of Christ and His word (John 6:37-39, 1 John 5:11-13, 1 Pet 1:3-5, Rom 8:30).
